Mathura: A horrific road accident took place near Farah cut of National Highway 19 under Police Station Farah area when the couple on the bike was going towards Mathura on their bike number UP85 AV 6008, the speeding truck ran over them, and both died at the spot.

Seeing this horrifying accident, the people gathered from nearby areas and informed the area police about the incident, the police immediately reached the accident spot and took control over the area and sent the bodies for post-mortem.

The statement given by the eyewitness to the police is that the truck that hit the bike- borne couples truck driver has escaped from the spot, for which the police are engaged in the investigation.

From the enquiry it is known that the deceased couple is  from Raya town, and the investigation is still going on.
