The Guruvayur temple holds a special place in Kalidas’ family history. His parents, Jayaram and Parvathy, tied the knot at the same temple 32 years ago, in a grand ceremony attended by their fans and admirers. Reflecting on his son’s wedding, Jayaram shared, “We are truly happy and grateful. Seeing Kannan (Kalidas) and Taru getting married in front of Guruvayoorappan is a dream come true. The love and support from the people, just like at our wedding, have been overwhelming.”
Earlier this year, in May, Kalidas’ sister Malavika Jayaram married her fiancé Navaneeth Gireesh at the same venue, making 2024 a year of celebrations for the family. Parvathy expressed her happiness, saying, “This year has been filled with joyous occasions for our family, and we feel blessed.”
