Ajay Devgn is coming up with the new movie based on true story with an unforgettable appearance of Indian Football Team on Summer Olympic IN Helsinki, Finland. In 1948, India participated in the men’s football tournament at the 1948 Summer Olympics held in London, United Kingdom.

The Indian team, which was composed of a talented group of players, including the legendary Syed Abdul Rahim as the captain, won their first match against France by a score of 2-1. However, they lost their next two matches, against Yugoslavia (1-3) and Burma (0-1), and were eliminated from the tournament. Despite not winning a medal, India’s performance in the 1948 Olympics was still considered significant, as it was the country’s first appearance in the Olympics as an independent nation. Moreover, the team’s victory over France in the opening match was the first time that an Asian team had defeated a European team in Olympic football history.

After Four year in 1952, India appeared second time as an Independent Republic and compete in the Olympic In1 952. The 1952 Summer Olympics were held in Helsinki, Finland. India participated in the men’s football tournament and won the gold medal.

India had a strong team led by legendary captain, Talimeren Ao. They won all three of their group stage matches, defeating Austria 1-0, Luxembourg 6-0, and Argentina 1-0. In the semi-finals, they faced the reigning champions, Yugoslavia, and won 4-1. In the gold medal match, they faced their arch-rivals, Pakistan, and won 1-0 to become the first Asian team to win a gold medal in football at the Olympics.

The Indian team was known for their attacking prowess and skilful play, and they were a dominant force in Asian football during the 1950s. The 1952 Olympic gold medal was one of their greatest achievements, and it remains a source of inspiration for generations of Indian footballers.
